Sterling silver 18 inch, dainty chain necklace OR 18 inch stainless steel chain with sterling silver initial charm(s). First photo shows the sterling silver necklace with one letter and birthstone or two letter and birthstone sets. Your necklace will include a block style, silver letter in a very similar style to the one shown, if not the same style.
Sterling silver chain is thinner and more dainty— will tarnish with infrequent wear.
Stainless steel is more durable and will not tarnish. Charms will be secured to specific links to avoid unwanted movement and overlap when using multiple charms.
Please note that the first photo shows the accurate font style for the letter charms this time around. Other photos are from previous orders using a different font and are being shown for visualizing multiple charms or placement only.
The birthstone shown with one letter charm is February. There is also a photo with both the sterling and stainless steel necklace worn to show a comparison.
The charms are generally the same sizes but vary depending on the letter because letters are different shapes. MOST letters are 9x7mm but some are a couple mm wider. Essentially, all of your letters will blend if you add more than one.
**if you’re ordering more than one charm, please note that choosing a sterling silver chain will allow some overlap of charms. If you’d like your charms to be secured in separate links on the necklace to avoid any overlap, you must choose a stainless steel chain.
